Hello, my name is Kris Burke. A few years back I decided to enroll in the Web Development program at the Eastern Idaho Technical College here in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This decision enabled me to learn the knowledge and skills needed to have a good fundamental understanding of the newest technologies. These technologies include guidelines, specifications, tools and software, such as the Adobe CS4 Software (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, etc.), which are essential in order to utilize the Web and its potential.
Since then I've been an Independant Internet Developer. My
Web Design portfolio page includes selective websites I created and currently maintain for various clients and organizations.
My Graphic Projects page includes particular designs I created, in which I selected the colors, artwork, animation, style of type, and did most of the Photography and other visual elements for the design.
Along with my graphic design skills, I specialize in Photo Editing and retouching, having extensive knowledge, skills and techniques in Photoshop CS4. Even though its quite tedious to master and learn, I now can do wonders in creating effects and improving images.
I've also had the opportunity to create print ads for the Thrifty Nickel and the Intermountain Horse Club directory in Boise, and a full page spread for the prestigious Paint Horse Journal magazine published by APHA. My most recent creation includes a 7 x 31 ft. banner (large print ad), which is displayed alongside Interstate I-15.
